Stoddard’s work explores the perception of memory, fragmented histories, and the quiet presence of the past.
Her film is developed in a makeshift darkroom at home, scanning the negatives herself; keeping the process intimate. By working slowly and intentionally with film, she aims to create images that feel like memories over documentation— fleeting, layered, and deeply personal.
Returning to film after years of working digitally was a conscious decision to slow down, reconnect, and re-engage with photography as a physical, meditative act.
Stoddard earned her BAs in Studio Art and Spanish Language & Literature from Transylvania University.
